Sheridan Martin is a proven professional with over 25 years of combined experience in Law, Land and Energy Development.
He attended Morehead State University where he graduated with honors in 1989 and then attended Northern Kentucky University, Salmon P. Chase College of Law graduating in 1992 with a J.D. degree. While attending his final year of Law School he was elected Student Bar Association President by his fellow classmates.
Sheridan practiced law in Kentucky for 13 years before transitioning to the energy industry full-time. Initially, he did land work for several Oil Exploration and Production companies before moving into the Renewables market.
Since moving into Renewable Energy Sheridan has leased or purchased thousands of acres in Iowa, Kentucky, West Virginia, Missouri, Tennessee, South Dakota, Illinois and Minnesota for Solar, Wind, BESS, and Carbon Capture projects.
In addition to leasing or purchasing land he has negotiated damage settlements, been involved with difficult negotiations, mineral and surface title, transmission, and pipeline right of way along with community and government relations work.
Sheridan splits his time between the mountains of Kentucky and Appalachia to the fields of Iowa and the Midwest. During his free time, he enjoys Civil War History and being the caretake of Chester, an Iowa Barn cat that he adopted.
